Bob Tavani is an artist, Art Therapist Registered and an educator. His paintings have been exhibited at Mahan Gallery, Agora, Contemporary Art Center; Cincinatti, Thread Waxing Space, Diverse Works and other venues. He currently runs the Art Therapy program at Columbus Area, Inc.

"I feel an affinity with oil painting. I love its impact on the history of art - It revolutionized the sensual depiction of our visual world. My paintings are a combination of that depiction and a highly intuitive response akin to Abstract Expressionism. My paintings embrace oil paintings history. However, art history is not a prerequisite to appreciate them."
