Michael states he finds beauty in the untraditional since. Born in Gary IN, the Steel City, Michael’s work has been described as having a decomposed feel and look, sometimes like rusted metal. He primarily uses watercolors to achieve this effect. Michael started painting for the second time in 2005/2006 and since has shown at numerous events held at junction view studios in 07 and 08 including Spark and Agora. Michael also had his first solo show at East Village in Nov 2008. Some of Michael’s early inspiration comes from artists like Monet, Renoir, Rothko.
